Yesterday saw the return of the annual Route 62 Kustom Show at Pontefract Racecourse.  This event, in my opinion, is one of the best Custom Shows that grace my local area - there is always an astounding turn out of cars, bikes, trucks and other vehicles - not to mention live bands, stalls and prizes.

There is also plenty for the kids to do - it's perfect for a family day out.
Last year I went in the car and took the kids, but this year I rolled in on the bike with a few other SSUK members.
The ride in was awesome.  The ride home in the pissing down rain not so much!
I love classic German and American.  I also love a bit of rust and patina.  And I love different bikes.

I wasn't disappointed.

The event was a completely cool collection of classic custom coolness - race cars, ratted out beasts, gleaming chrome, scuffed up matte, slammed air ride, jacked up monsters, classic hot rod, modern supercar, Lambretta, Vespa, Harley, Indian, Honda, Suzuki, Yammy, Beemer, Chevy, Caddy, Dub, Pontiac, Plymouth, Buick, Ford, Mercury, Olds, Dodge, Jag, Mini, Volvo, Vauxhall, Ferrari, Porsche and lots of other treasures that made all the petrol heads drool.

I took a lot of snaps - missed loads too.

Many thanks to all the organisers for a top notch day.

Here's my pics.  Don't miss the monster of a dog at the end - we call him Killer.  Nah, not really - his name is Dave.
