This weekend saw the 2nd birthday of Sportster Sickness UK. And with a birthday, you've got to have a party!
And what a party it was.
Over 350 bikes rocked into Jack's Hill Cafe carpark in Towcester. The weather was a bit on the nippy side, but the sun was shining and the smiles were out along with the bikes. I've got to admit I cheated though - I turned up in the car with a few others. Although, as we watched the main group roll in, I wished I'd gone on the bike.
It was one hell of an entrance!
Jack's Hill is a pretty historic Truck Stop and Biker Cafe by itself, but today it had extras. As well as all the Sickness merchandise and cakes, a few other vendors had turned up - such as Northants V-Twin, Colour Worx and Idle Torque.
It was a beauty of a day. Was good to see some familiar faces and meet some new ones. Some pretty awesome rides on display too.
The day wrapped up with a pretty cool raffle which had had some awesome prizes donated. The winners pool was a bit suspect though! ;-) It was all good fun and helped raise some funds for a good cause.
A superb day with superb people. Cheers to all the organisers involved - looking forward to the next one already!
Some snaps from the day.
